Mark Johnson covers the Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern
Virginia Territory. A 20 year veteran, Mark brings unparalleled experience to The Henson
Sales Group.
Mark first worked as a self-employed contract cleaner for
three years before moving on to distribution sales. He worked first with Stevens &
Mann and then with the Charles Stott & Co. In 1992, Stott spun off the Jan/San
business to Mark and 4 other employees who then formed Washington Paper & Chemical.
In 1995 Mark sold his interest in Washington Paper and
became an independent manufacturers' representative with Chemspec becoming his anchor
line. Mark's expertise in niche floor care, particularly stone, marble, and carpet, has
made him an indispensable expert to many of the area's distributors. In addition, his
overall industry knowledge coupled with experience as a contract cleaner gives him immense
credibility with DSR's and end-users alike. This expertise has led Mark to creating many
strong relationships throughout the territory.
Mark will cover the territory from his office in Fairfax,
VA.
